Privacy Policy — RustGrade

Русская версия

Effective date: 7 October 2026 · App: RustGrade for Android and iPhone (com.rustgrade.rustgrade) · Contact: narodniy.team@gmail.com

This policy applies only to the RustGrade app and describes all the data the app receives, uses, stores and shares. The Russian version of this page is the original; this is its translation.

RustGrade is a game that simulates upgrading items. Everything inside the game, including the balance and the items, is fictional and has no value outside the app. Real money is not accepted, paid out or won. Items cannot be bought for money, sold, exchanged, or withdrawn to Steam or to any game.

The app is an independent development. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Facepunch Studios Ltd or Valve Corporation. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios Ltd; the names and images of items belong to their respective owners.

What data we process

If you play without signing in

We collect nothing. Your progress — balance, items, statistics, upgrade history — is stored only in your device's memory and is not sent anywhere. Deleting the app erases it completely. Advertising networks receive their technical data even without sign-in — see Advertising.

If you sign in

Signing in is optional: the game works fully without it. You can sign in with Google and, on iPhone, with Apple. Signing in lets the game recognise you at the next launch and move your progress between devices.

Sign in with Google. We receive from Google and store:

Sign in with Apple — on iPhone. The game does not request your name or e-mail address from Apple: only an identifier of your Apple ID for this app is stored.

The password of your Google or Apple account is not passed to the app and is not available to us.

Together with the sign-in data, your game progress is uploaded to the cloud: balance, list of items, win and loss statistics, upgrade history.

Technical data

The Google services that provide sign-in and progress storage record technical details of the connection on their own — including the IP address and device details. They need this to protect against brute force and abuse. The app does not request, store or use this data.

The app has no analytics of its own: we do not track which screens you open or how you play.

Advertising

The app has two kinds of ads. Rewarded videos: you get an in-game case for watching, and watching is optional — the game works fully without it. And an interstitial video — no more than one per session, in a pause between upgrades or cases, with a notice before it is shown.

Ads are served by the Yandex Advertising Network (Yandex Mobile Ads). On Android, part of the videos comes through Google AdMob — Google's advertising network connected to Yandex as an ad source (mediation); AdMob is not included in the iPhone version. The advertising networks operate independently and receive the device advertising identifier, the IP address and technical details of the device — they need this to pick a video, count the impression and protect against fraud. The app does not pass your name, e-mail address or game progress to advertising networks.

How these networks handle data is described in their rules: Yandex Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from partners' apps.

Advertising on iPhone

In the iPhone version, the Yandex SDK (with AppMetrica analytics built in) receives the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allowed tracking in the system prompt “Allow this app to track your activity?”. The game asks once. Declining does not limit the game in any way. You can change the permission at any time: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Advertising on Android

You can reset the advertising identifier or turn off ad personalisation in Android settings: Google → Ads.

Where data is stored

The data of signed-in users is stored in Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) on Google's servers. Access to a record is limited by the database rules: only its owner can read and change it, and it is closed to everyone else.

How long we keep data

The data of a signed-in user is kept for as long as their account in the app exists. We do not delete it after a set period and do not archive it: the record lives until you delete the account or ask us to delete it.

On iPhone the account is deleted in the game itself: the progress document and the account are erased right after you confirm. On a request by e-mail we erase them within 30 days. Firebase backups may contain the data for up to 30 more days after deletion; after that they are overwritten automatically.

Guest mode data is not stored on servers at all — it stays only on the device and disappears together with the app.

How we protect data

Who we share data with

We do not sell data. Processing is limited to the services that make the app work and show ads:

Permissions

On Android the app requests only internet access and network state. On iPhone there is a single system prompt — the tracking permission for the advertising network (see Advertising); declining it does not limit the game in any way. The app does not request the camera, microphone, location, contacts or files.

Children

The app's age rating is assigned by the store you installed it from and is shown on the app's page there. The app is not designed for children: we deliberately do not aim its design or advertising at a child audience and do not knowingly collect children's data. If you believe a child has used the app and their data has reached us, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and, where necessary, announced in the app's description.
